Data Protection Policy

MHAS is required to ensure that all its members have consented to their data being held and used for limited purposes by the Society. The personal data we hold are name, address, phone number and email address if applicable. The data are strictly only held on the computers of the members of the committee only. The information is used only for the business of MHAS to enable the distribution of programme details, recording subscriptions, and the advertising of events. If we have your email address, we will use only BCC (blind carbon copy) methods of address so that no-one can see anyone else’s email address.

Personal data will never be passed on to third parties. Members can contact any member of the committee to view the personal data that are held; members can ask for the data to be amended, or removed from the records of the Society.

During our exhibitions or events we may take photos; we will seek your approval before they are used for publication.
